When we moved to Florida into our first real place as a married couple a few years back I started to become more aware of the great décor that is available for Holidays. Since then I’ve amassed a quaint little collection of different special touches to break out for each season or Holiday. I love Halloween so naturally I have quite a few Halloween themed items (more then my Christmas collection which is another story hehe). Most of the items I decorate with currently I’ve picked up at craft fairs or arts markets. I have a thing for handmade items, they are so much better then some cookie cutter item you would buy at a store. While looking for sponsors I was delighted to come acrossed Monkey Lynne Designs, there is not a thing in the whole Etsy store I wouldn’t buy. Now where I would display it all I’m not sure but I want want WANT the adorable Burlap Door Hangings made by Monkey Lynne Designs.
My favorite item from Monkey Lynne Designs is this Ghost Burlap Door Hanger. I love that it is 3D, I do believe One Little Indian would appreciate this too, something he could play with err admire. I love how bright and colorful this hanger is, such a change from most Halloween décor being dark and spooky. Each burlap hanging is hand painted with acrylic paints and then embellished with glitter, ribbon, and hung with a wire hanger. Loving the details of the added “bling”. I’m not sure if I would hang this outside, I would be too worried that Florida weather might take it’s toll on my precious decoration but according to Monkey Lynne Designs you can hang it indoors or outdoors if the area is well protected. I think this would look cute hung right inside my entranceway.
Another item I just adore from Monkey Lynne Designs is this darling Halloween Personalized Pumpkin Burlap Door Hanger. Like the Ghost above this Hanger is 3D, hand painted, and embellished with glitter, but adds a touch of raffia bow to make it pop. You can choose to have any personalized message you like painted on. I like the Happy Halloween and I noticed that there was a custom listing for one of these with the saying “Happy Fall Y’All”, is that not pretty cool? I think it would also be neat to have “Trick or Treat” painted on that to display on your door for the little ghosts and goblins that come calling.
