One of the most amazing things about Etsy and shopping online in general is that you can enjoy items from all over the world. I love handmade items and it makes me happy when I can find neat handmade items from other countries. I found Bag N’ Craft while browsing on Etsy late one night and fell in love with the neat little trinkets and crafts they have for sale. You just won’t find these types of goodies at your local store. Bag N’ Craft is based in Malaysia and ran by a stay at home mom who even tries to source her own materials! I really love that, at Bag N’ Craft you can also find some of the same sourced materials for sale for your own craft projects. I wish I was crafty because this is the kind of thing I would appreciate when making my own projects.
Just a few days ago I found my self going through clothing I have set back for our next baby, more specifically our next baby if that baby happens to be of the female persuasion. Yes, I am one of “those” people, I buy ahead, way ahead in this case. I was showing my mother in law all the goodies and found that most of the clothing has a theme, owls. I have a few owl outfits for One Little Indian but tons for my hopefully someday daughter. I love owl things I’ve found so you can image that I would swoon over this adorable Little Owl Coin Purse from Bag N’ Craft. In some cultures owls are believed to bring luck to their owners according to the item description, I did not know this! Learn something new every day. I think this coin purse is just darling, I love the fabric too! This is definitely something you would not find anywhere else. Adorable. And of course you would want a hip new bag to house your adorable new coin purse right? Well check out the wonderful selection of Handcrafted Bags from Bag N’ Craft, each bag is either quilted or crocheted creating a wonderful piece that you are sure to get many compliments on
Keeping with our Halloween theme I thought I would share with you the item that drew me to Bag N’ Craft in the first place. These Halloween Lucky Black with Spider Lucky Stars are so neat! I am not quite sure how one would even go about crafting these lovely stars but I’d love to learn! The owner of Bag N’ Craft folds these little stars by hand with help from her young daughter. I can picture displaying different colors or prints to match holidays in a large glass container in my house. That would make an excellent conversation piece. Bag N’ Craft has other suggestions for these that I didn’t even consider such as making beads out of them by stringing them with a needle, using as confetti, or using as embellishments for altered art. I really want some of these, Bag N’ Craft offers these in many colors, prints, and quantities including Colorful Stripes and Solid Colors. Wouldn’t these also look great as a centerpiece for a wedding in the wedding colors? I would have loved that at my wedding, what a unique touch.
