It never ceases to amaze me just how popular buying handmade has become.  I have been a fan of handmade for years upon years now making it my mission to find one of a kind gifts for family and friends that you will not find at your local super store. Our very first sponsor of the Trick or Treat Giveaway Hop has even been featured in several magazines including Better Homes and Gardens and Celebrate 365 and if that wasn’t cool enough in it’s own Indigo Twin was a featured seller on Etsy, if you are familiar with Etsy you know this is a huge accomplishment reserved for the best of the best. One look around Indigo Twin and you can see why the custom creations from identical twins Kirsten and Cortney have created such a buzz surrounding them.  I can not even begin to tell you how hard it was to pick just two items to feature from Indigo Twin to give our readers a good sense of what Indigo Twin had to offer.  I found myself going back and forth because quite honestly there isn’t a thing in the whole shop that I wouldn’t display in my home.  I love folk art and whimsy items and that is exactly what Indigo Twin creates. I finally settled on this wonderful Spooky Halloween Ornament Trio as one of the items I just had to share. I can picture these hung on a decorate tree with care ready to delight and perfect for Halloween. I can even see these hung from a house plant, what a wonderful little touch that would be!  The Spooky Halloween Trio features this not so scary little ghost, a bat, and a smiling spider. Each ornament is handcrafted from clay and roughly the size of a golf ball.  P.S. The Ghost is my favorite!

I really couldn’t “not” feature my next item, the coolness factor here makes me one happy lady. At Indigo Twin you will find several different listings for Customized Clay Sculptures of people that you can have made to reflect your own family, children, pets, or perhaps just someone you admire (this might be a bit creepy but I would personally display a sculpture of say Johnny Depp, maybe that’s just me teehee. I don’t know a mother on this planet who wouldn’t be thrilled to receive something like this for a gift. I am in the process of planning One Little Indian’s First Birthday, yep the big one, and Indigo Twin also makes the most precious little custom Birthday Candle Kids you have never seen, I would love to add one of these to create the perfect touch for his smash cake. Imagine the complements you would get moms? I did a little digging and also found that Indigo Twin’s has another Etsy shop features Wedding Items and you better believe they have Custom Couple Wedding Cake Toppers, you really should check these out, pretty much the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long long time.
